¶ And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole
What is the difference between being healed and being made whole?
The things that give me the most joy in my life are my God, my husband, my children, and creating things that bring joy to others. God has blessed me with so many gifts and talents and I know He expects me to use them to bless the lives of others. On my journey with Him I have learned so much about His love and the peace and happiness He wants us to feel in life. I started the blog "Finding the Eye of the Storm" as a way to show my gratitude to Him and to hopefully use the things He has taught me to help others find that same peace and joy that is only available through the atonement of His Divine Son. Aside from this blog, I spend my days facilitating a Facebook scripture study group (Scripture Study 365) and designing and creating flannel board stories and downloads to help parents and teachers share their love for Jesus Christ and His teachings with the children they love. I also have a number of classic stories and songs for teachers in a traditional classroom.
